John Perrin is a musician and audio engineer from Chicago, IL
John’s been the drummer of the critically acclaimed American band NRBQ since 2015. He’s also performed on stage or on record with such musicians as Brian Wilson, She & Him, Rodney Crowell (whose 2023 Grammy-nominated album ‘The Chicago Sessions’ features John), JD McPherson, Young Fresh Fellows, The Smoking Popes, Jake La Botz, and Jim Boggia. He’s an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and audio engineer who spends half of his time touring and the other working in his own studio space or other Chicago studios such as Electrical Audio, The Wilco Loft, and Reliable Recorders/Hi-Style Studio.
